Chocolate Brownies

I have this yummy choccy recipe book and theres a recipe for white chocolate cheesecake that is to die for!!!! But this is a really good one too... Choccy Brownies

Ingredients:
375g dark chocolate, chopped
375g butter, diced
500g caster sugar
6 eggs
225g plain flour
FOR THE TOPPING:
140g dark chocolate, chopped
50g butter, diced
icing sugar, to finish (optional)


1. Preheat oven to 180.c/gas 4/fan 160.
Grease a medium cake tin and melt the chocolate
and butter together over a hot pan of boiling
water(or in the microwave)

2. Beat the sugar and eggs in a bowl. Stir in the melted chocolate and add the flour and beat well. Pour into the tin, baking for 40-45 mins.

3. For topping, melt the chocolate with the
butter in a bowl like before. Stir until smooth then
spread it over the cake and wait to cool!!
